This year, we made all the food ourselves. Several families pitched in with food, bbq, propane, decorations, and all sorts of desserts. The kids organized a martial arts demonstration including a special yongmudo self-defense 5-minute presentation ("This is how a little girl like me can defend herself.").
Heavy rain moved us from the front courtyard into the studio, but that didn't dampen the enjoyment of more great Korean food from Zippy's Korean BBQ.
What good is having a great studio with courtyard if you don't use it? We moved Chuseok to our studio and had a great turnout of 50+ people sampling authentic Korean food from Zippy's Korean BBQ in Redding.
We started at Mt. Shasta City Park's Main Lodge by holding a taekwondo demonstration for the Seniors Nutrition Program. Students from Oak Leaf independent classroom also attended. Silva's Korean BBQ in Weed provided authentic Korean food for everyone to enjoy.
